Return To Rest.

Today is a good day to rest.

What do I mean by rest?

We enter rest every time we recognize we are in fear(of whatever) and we remember, yes REMEMBER, as often as we can, that we are loved by such a great love, that is so powerful, so wise, so benevolent, full of mercy and goodness, that we let go of our fear and remember who God is and what this amazing Love is capable of at every single moment of our existence.

We turn our fear into faith.

We turn our despair into confidence.

We turn our doubt into trust.

We turn our hardness into softness.

We turn our shame into humility.

We turn our resistance into acceptance.

How?

By asking for Grace to come.

"He is able immediately to run to the cry of (assist, relieve) those who are tempted and tested and tried [and therefore are being exposed to suffering]. Hebrews 2:18

The good news is that grace is ours now if we want it, if we will permit it, if we will believe it, if we will receive it.

It is unmerited, undeserved and available no matter what, no matter if you think you deserve it or not.

Grace runs to us.

Love runs to us.

Immediately.

We get to rest, knowing that this great love is working now.

John 5:17 But Jesus replied, “My Father is always working, and so am I.”

He knows exactly what we need, when we need it.

Isaiah 65:24 "Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear."

We enter into this profound rest when we remember that this Grace is always with and available to us. Grace is always working.

Grace knows what you need before you are even done asking!

We invite Grace in.

We let go of resistance.

Every time we let go of resistance, we open up a divine channel of energy, light, love and grace comes pouring through!

Today, I return to rest and let Grace work.
