God is Passionate For You!

Love stories... we all know some good ones. When I think of a beautiful love story, I think of Romeo and Juliet..their love was fierce, passionate, broke rules and would not be controlled. They would not let anything stop their love for each other. Can you imagine that in your life? Can you imagine God's love for you is a trillion times more passionate than that! Can you? Its difficult, I know, especially for those of us who have been abused, neglected and betrayed by people who claimed to have loved us. But if we are going to ever get to a place of victory in our lives, we first have to know, beyond any shadow of a doubt, the absolute, perfect, complete love God has for us.
Perfect love casts out all fear! (John 4:18)
The way we begin to move past fear, heal and become the person we were created to be is to understand in our hearts, not just our minds, but our hearts, the absolute love of God!
Isaiah 35:4 states: "Say to those who are of a fearful and hasty heart, Be strong, fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance; with the recompense of God He will come and save you."
Now imagine if you can, a scene from a movie, the most intense rescue scene you've ever witnessed. Do you remember the thrill and joy and excitement you felt when the person was rescued? Remember it fully with all of your senses. Now change the characters. You are being rescued and God knows how to rescue you perfectly. Believe it with your whole heart, He is with you! Feel it, know it in your heart.
As you begin to meditate on God's passionate heart for you, you will begin to look at things you fear differently. When fear comes you can say out loud to the world: "My God is violently jealous for me, He is dealing with my enemies (enemies like lack, sickness, addiction, self-doubt) with a vengeance and He is paying me back what the enemy has tried to steal from me. He is saving me completely today and forever more! He shall not let me be put to shame but He shall give me a two-fold recompense (YAY!); instead of dishonor and reproach I shall rejoice in my portion. Therefore in my land I shall possess double [what I had forfeited]. Everlasting joy shall be mine!"(Isaiah 60:7)
God is passionate for you! Say it out loud every day until your fears begin to disappear, until your body begins to calm down, until that belief becomes stronger than any fear that tries to come against you.
"For the Lord your God holds your right hand, I am the Lord who says to you, fear not, I will help you!" (Isaiah 41:13). Today I believe I am surrounded by the passionate love of God.
