Integrative Energy Medicine

Energy psychology is based on the broad theory that mental health and physical health conditions are related to altered flow and function in the body’s electrical energies and energy fields. Energy connects the interface of mind and body. The idea that the body’s electricity and energy can be manipulated to produce healing and spiritual development is a root of many ancient, holistic approaches to medicine. Energy psychology techniques are a group of therapies which includes the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Thought Field Therapy (TFT), the Tapas Acupressure Technique (TAT), and the Emotion Code/Body Code. Each of these approaches utilize the meridian system to release energy blockages caused by traumatic experiences: tapping or holding meridian points (EFT, TFT, TAT) or tracing the Governing Vessel (Emotion/Body Code). Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), and its offshoot, EMDR, use eye patterns and imagery to release trauma.

Psychotherapeutic Chakra Clearing and Balancing uses Universal Life Force energy to channel positive energy into your body as well as implement techniques which clear, balance and strengthen each energy center.  Chakras are energy centers, the "organs" of the energy body. They have 4 functions: to receive, assimilate, store and express energy. They are what organizes our life force energy. The 7 Chakras are the "architecture" of the soul, mapping each major human function. This map describes the full spectrum of the human experience and helps us to understand where we may need to focus our energy to improve our lives. The Chakra system is the spiritual bridge between heaven and earth that lives in each and everyone of us.

In every case, the focus is not on understanding what happened, but on getting to the emotional/energetic pattern that we need to release in order for us to heal.  Trauma is emotional/energetic, so effective therapies need to work on the emotional/energetic levels.

Counseling with EMDR, EFT or The Emotion Code

  • Counseling is useful for bringing resolution to past hurts and current struggles in order to move forward. Counseling allows you to understand and manage your thoughts, feelings, emotions and behaviors and navigate interpersonal relationships more effectively. Relieving anxiety, depression and trauma using techniques such as EMDR, EFT and the Emotion Code to help the process to move faster and more systematically.

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a non-traditional form of psychotherapy designed to diminish negative feelings associated with memories of traumatic events. Treatment includes a hand motion technique used by the therapist to guide the client’s eye movements from side to side while the client recalls the distressing emotions/memories/beliefs to fully process past experiences and sort out emotions attached those experiences.

  • EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is a technique that works by tapping on acupressure meridians to release emotional blockages and stress, when these blockages are released, the problem feeling can be released, and balance is restored to your disrupted energy system.

  • The Emotion Code: Our subconscious mind is an all-knowing computer equipped for ultimate health and happiness. Using muscle testing and specific questioning, we will follow the guidance of your subconscious and identify a trapped emotion. Once identified, a therapeutic magnet is used to de-magnetize the energy of the trapped emotion via the Governing Meridian. Not unlike swiping a magnet across the black information strip on the back of a credit card. The trapped emotion is permanently erased and the effects immediate and long lasting.
